East Los Angeles Certified Farmers Market
The 100% Certified Farmers’ Market has been bringing farm fresh food to the East Los Angeles community for over 15 years. Supported by the Los Angeles County Development Authority, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding and Supervisor Solis’ office, Eastmont Community Center seeks to partner with local nonprofits and East LA businesses to highlight the best food, arts, and talent the community has to offer. Weekly surprises include, live entertainment, health clinics to offer screenings, public resources and services, and economic/nutrition support by way of its market match/EBT incentive programs.
Currently, the market spotlights 26 vendors that offer organic produces and locally crafted artisanal foods and goods. There are different variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, honey, and eggs including different types of local cultural artworks and crafts. Listen in and hear the live music being played in the background while enjoying delicious food from our local food vendors.
Free parking is available and we highly encourage all to use the Metro Gold Line and exit at the Civic Center stop.
