Food Pantry
The Eastmont food pantry is a 500 sq ft space with food racks, commercial freezers and refrigerators which stores nearly 6,000 pounds of food . The food pantry is supported by a Sprinter 3500 van with a Thermo King refrigeration unit to pick up and store fresh items. We aim to collect and safely store nutritional food items to distribute for free to members of the community in need. Items received are generously donated by partners such as the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and local grocery and food outlets such as Pizza Hut, Target, Food 4 Less and Walmart.
Approximately 6,000 pounds of food are distributed each week.
